The Robot and Bob's Transgalatic Library Adventure is an interactive web application and performance for libraries. A spacecraft has broken down whilst passing through our galaxy. The spacecraft needs 'word energy' to refuel, and in order to do this, the robot Patterson needs to learn new words. As ambassadors for Earth, you must read to the robot Patterson (named after Willie Patterson, the original writer of sci fi comic strip Jeff Hawke) to generate new word energy and help the spacecraft get on its way. From beyond the known universe, The Robot and Bob's Transgalactic Library Adventure combines artificial intelligence, experimental web technologies, web animation and cardboard, to bring you a literary experience like no other.
